PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

The latest product is produced by Chubbsafes, the world’s leader in design and manufacture for physical security products. Security features normally found only in high security safes are built in to give resistance to drills and explosive attacks.

BODY
Over Overall thickness 84 mm. and constructed from inner and outer steel bodies uniquely anchoring and enclosing a jointless barrier material of Chubbsafes F4 fibre concrete.

DOOR
Overall thickness 100 mm. with a protective thickness of 10 mm. solid steel plate. Additional drill resistance over all critical points. For additional fire protection a steel pan filled with fire resistant material is secured to the back of the door.

LOCKING
One 3-wheel combination lock (1 million variations) certified by VdS CLASS 1, UL Group 2 and one 8-lever keylock with nickel plated keys certified by EN1300A, ECB-S, VdS CLASS 1, UL 437 are fitted as standard. Other variations are available upon request.

BOLT WORK
The door is secured by 27 mm. moving bolts. The hinge side is further protected by a full height dogging bar which engages into the body when the door is closed.

EXPLOSIVE PROTECTION
Fitted with one live re-locking device.

Castle Gold Night Safe – Night Drawer Trap – Allow for effective deposit of cash and documents through a secured drawer without having to open the safe’s main door. Upon closing the drawer, the contents would fall into the safe. An “Anti-Fishing Plate” is also incorporated to protect against ‘fishing’ attempts to remove the safe’s content through the Trap.
